The release of Park Hye Jin’s debut album, “Before I Die,” has been announced. Ninja Tune will release the album on September 10th, with North American tour dates following soon after.
The DJ, rapper, vocalist, and producer from South Korea has gained a lot of recognition in recent years via a string of well-received EPs, the most recent of which was ‘How Can I,’ which was featured in our Bandcamp Essentials. Her back catalogue is also primed with high-profile collaborations, such as ‘CALL ME’ with Blood Orange and ‘Can You’ with Galcher Lustwerk.
Hye Jin has released the first track from her upcoming studio album, ‘Let’s Sing Let’s Dance.’ Following the release of the album, she embarks on a tour of Canada and the United States, including stops in Toronto (7/10), Brooklyn (8/10), Miami’s III Points Festival (22/10), and New Orleans’ Buku Festival (23/10).
Hye Jin was announced as a nominee for the 2021 AIM Independent Music Awards in the Independent Breakthrough category last month.
