96 Back has confirmed his new album, ‘Love Letters, Nine Through Six,’ which will be released on November 5th via Local Action.
The LP completes the Sheffield-born, Manchester-based producer’s trilogy for the label, which commenced earlier this year with the ten-track cassette ‘9696 Dream.’
The ‘Flex Time EP,’ released in July, featured vocals from Iceboy Violet, a North West England experimental musician who also appears on the new album, and Cadence Weapon, a Toronto rapper. 96 Back’s new album, ‘Love Letters, Nine Through Six,’ is the first time he’s utilized his own voice in a recording, blending avant-garde pop and club sounds. ‘9 To Find 6’ has already been released as the first track.
In the autumn, the producer will tour the record, including a stop at Sheffield’s No Bounds Festival.
