Little Simz has released “Introvert,” a new song and video from her forthcoming album, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, which will be released on September 3rd through Age 101.
“Introvert” is a big song that starts with a big orchestral fanfare and keeps going as Simz peels off bars about anxiety, anger, and possibility on both a personal and a more universal level.
Salomon Ligthelm directed an equally grand music video for “Introvert.” With majestic dance sequences and more, the clip weaves together archival and freshly captured footage of riots and social unrest.
Little Simz’s 2019 album Grey Area is followed by Sometimes I Might Be Introvert. Simz collaborated on the album with Inflo, and it featured guest appearances from Cleo Sol, Obongjayar, and even Emma Corrin from The Crown.
Simz has recently appeared in Netflix’s Top Boy’s second season, and she will reprise her role in the third season, which is currently filming.
