Loraine James has released a new single from her upcoming album.
The song, titled ‘Let’s Go,’ is the second single from James’ upcoming album ‘Reflection,’ which was released in March alongside title track ‘Simple Stuff.’ The new album follows her breakout album ‘For You & I,’ which was named DJ Mag’s favorite release of the year in 2019.
The tracks on ‘Reflection’ were recorded over the summer of 2020, and the album is characterized as “a turbulent expression of inner-space,” looking back on the previous year through the eyes of a young, queer Black woman.
