Rico Nasty has a new track out named “Magic.” The song will be featured on her forthcoming mixtape Rx, which will be released by Atlantic this summer.
Vincent van den Ende, Ramon Ginton, Amit Nagra, and Romano Wijnstein collaborated on the song’s writing. Avedon, Ginton, Alter Ego, and Mano contribute shimmering, summer-ready production.
For a few weeks, the rapper has been teasing the song, as well as her mixtape.
Rico’s debut album, Nightmare Vacation, was released last December and will be followed by Rx. The rapper told Rolling Stone that the album was her most personal to date, and that it was a “more evolved” version of her 2016 mixtape Sugar Trap.
In addition to working on her own music, Rico Nasty has been on a few tracks in the last year, including Kali Uchis’ “Aqu Yo Mando” and 100 Gecs’ “Ringtone” remix, which also features Charli XCX and Kero Kero Bonito. She collaborated with Mahalia, a British singer, on the song “Jealous” in February.
