Dreamcastmoe, aka Davon Bryant, released his new EP ‘After All This’ this week.
On July 27, it was unveiled on AWAL Recordings.
Bryant earlier delivered two albums as dreamcastmoe: “The Lost Tapes” volumes one and two in the year 2017 and 2018, respectively.
‘After All This’ is a work that is both introspective and responsive. It follows Bryant through a period of upheaval, blending R&B, hip hop, funk, jazz, soul, and experimental electronic production.
Despite its more subdued and peaceful appearance, ‘After All This’ conveys self-assurance and assurance. It’s a grounded release, from the demandingness of ‘You Had Better Deliver’ to the steady acceptance of one’s own value in ‘IOU.’
