Aventura, a famed bachata band, and Bad Bunny have announced that they will collaborate on a new song, which will be released at midnight on Monday.
On Instagram, Bad Bunny revealed the collaboration by posting many photographs from a video shoot with members of the group, including Aventura’s legendary breakout star Romeo Santos.
Bad Bunny is no stranger to bachata; on his 2018 album, X100Pre, he experimented with the style on “La Romana,” a single starring El Alfa. Meanwhile, Aventura is renowned for dabbling with a variety of genres, ranging from R&B to reggaeton, so a new track with Bad Bunny might go in a variety of directions.
After a years-long break, Aventura reformed in 2020 and embarked on their Inmortal tour, which was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic. The band subsequently announced that the tour would come to an end on August 14th at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium in what Santos called their “last and final” gig
