Following their live debut of the revamped “Silkworms” track in Boston’s Fenway Park on August 3rd, Guns N’ Roses have unveiled the official audio version of “Absurd.”
On Tuesday, Gun N’ Roses performed at Fenway Park in Boston, and during their concert, they performed a cover of a previously unreleased track titled “Silkworms.” The title has been changed to “Absurd.”
Given the lyrics, which include Rose sneeringly singing the song’s title throughout, it’s a suitable rename.
According to Ultimate Classic Rock, Guns N’ Roses first performed the original “Silkworms” in 2001 and have not performed it since. According to reports, the song was written during the Chinese Democracy sessions.
