Following the first “Rift Tour” event on Friday, Ariana Grande published the entire “performance” she created within the popular gaming app Fortnite.
The Grande avatar performed a number of singles, including “Raindrops,” “7 Rings,” “Be Alright,” “R.E.M.,” “The Way,” and “Positions,” as well as tracks by Wolfmother, LSD (Labrinth, Sia, and Diplo), and Juice WRLD, as well as Marshmello’s “Come & Go.”
The unique “musical experience” took gamers on a series of vibrant adventures, such as snowboarding through liquid pink-and-turquoise clouds, battling a giant monster while aboard small aircrafts, a Flaming Lips-esque bubble concert in the sky, and, for “Positions,” a Grande performance in the stars, according to GameSpot, which uploaded the entire 14-minute event.
Between August 6th and 8th, the “Rift Tour” event took place five times live within Fortnite; dates and showtimes can be found on Epic Games’ website. Grande’s performance follows in the footsteps of Kaskade’s recent show and Travis Scott’s “Astronomical.”
