Machine Gun Kelly Teases an Album With a New Video for “Papercuts”

The video for Machine Gun Kelly’s new single “Papercuts” has been released. Born With Horns, his forthcoming album, will feature the song.

The Cole Bennett-directed video begins with black-and-white footage of MGK riding down Sunset Boulevard on a motorcycle with massive horns. The strange video portrays an outsized MGK surrounded by masked characters who rage as the film proceeds, and the lyrics explore the battle of maintaining balance amid popularity.

MGK unveiled Born With Horns on Instagram earlier this week, where he and longtime collaborator Travis Barker (who also appears in the new video) flaunted identical tattoos marking the album’s moniker. Barker is the album’s executive producer and also plays the drums. Machine Gun Kelly’s sixth studio album, Tickets to My Downfall, was released in 2020 and was also produced by Barker.

Machine Gun Kelly surprised fans at Lollapalooza by performing “My Ex’s Best Friend” (which was nominated for a VMA on Wednesday), “Bloody Valentine,” and a cover of Paramore’s “Misery Business.”
