Will Smith’s Upcoming Film “King Richard” will Feature a New Beyoncé Song

The end of the forthcoming Venus and Serena Williams biopic King Richard features a new Beyoncé track, “Be Alive.” During the final credits of the film, which stars Will Smith as the tennis pro’s father, “Be Alive” is played.

The song “Be Alive” was composed expressly for the film by the singer and DIXSON, according to the Los Angeles Times, which reviewed the film at the Telluride Film Festival this weekend.

Richard Williams, the father of Venus and Serena, is followed by King Richard as he assists in the rise of the Compton-raised sisters into tennis stars. On King Richard, the sisters, along with sister Isha Price, act as executive producers.

Aunjanue Ellis plays Oracene “Brandi” Williams, Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton play Venus and Serena Williams, Tony Goldwyn plays coach Paul Cohen, and Jon Bernthal plays coach Rick Macci in King Richard.

On November 19th, the film, directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, will be released in theatres and on HBO Max.
