Angel-Ho has unveiled the latest EP via NAAFI.
‘A Time To Die’ is the follow-up to the South African artist’s debut album, ‘Death Becomes Her,’ which was dropped on Hyperdub in 2019.
Angel-Ho delves into a variety of personal issues in the new album, from forbidden homosexual love to sustaining a thirst for limitless self-expression. The project will be complemented by a documentary about surviving schizophrenia as an artist, directed by South African director Allison Swank. Angel, as well as their mother Valerie, appear in the film.
Angel-Ho followed up their debut album for Hyperdub last year with ‘Alla Prima,’ an EP from which DJ Mag released the song ‘Never Ever’ in September 2020.
