Julia Bondar, an electronic music artist, singer, and songwriter from Ukraine who now lives in Barcelona, has released her fourth album titled, ‘Bonding.’ It’ll be released on October 20th, and it’ll be her first since 2020 when she released the album ‘Industrial Symphony.’
Bondar, the co-founder of Endorphine.es, is a big fan of modular synths, and she performs everything live, as she writes in her Instagram bio.
The fourth album features nine tracks that incorporate elements from the industrial, techno, electro, avant-garde pop, darkwave, and other genres.
Bondar described the album as a “Pandora box full of unexpected sounds” in an announcement on Instagram.
Despite the album’s diverse genres, each tune is united by her ecstatic – yet sorrowful – stamp, giving it a distinct identity.
The album begins with the thumping techno track “Ruby Red,” which demonstrates Bondar’s excitement for modular programming, and is followed by two equally energizing tracks, “Pleasure & Pain,” and “Flamboyant.”
Bondar has been teasing the album for the past two weeks, and she recently released a single called “La Neige Et Ses Messes Noires” in partnership with French electro duo Maman Küsters, which will also be featured on the upcoming album.
On October 20, ‘Bonding’ will be released on digital and vinyl.
