Fever Dreams Pts 1-4, Johnny Marr’s next double album, will be his fourth solo full-length release.
The 16-track double LP will be delivered on February 25th, 2022, by BMG, and will be the former Smiths guitarist’s first new music album since “Call The Comet” in 2018.
The Fever Dreams Pt 1 EP, which includes the songs “Spirit Power and Soul,” “Receiver,” “All These Days,” and “Ariel,” will be delivered digitally and on limited edition vinyl on October 15th.
The news is accompanied by plans for an exclusive livestream event called ‘Live At The Crazy Face Factory,’ in which fans will be able to virtually attend the studio where the new album was recorded. The global livestreams will take held from November 10 to 14, 2021.
In April and May of 2022, Marr will perform as a special guest on Blondie’s ‘Against The Odds’ headline tour, before embarking on The Killers’ headline US arena tour in August and October.
Marr also collaborated with regular collaborator Hans Zimmer on the soundtrack for the upcoming James Bond film ‘No Time To Die,’ which includes the film’s title track, written with Billie Eilish and Finneas.
