In the First Trailer for ‘Get Back,’ the Beatles Are Under Pressure to Cut an Album in Two Weeks

The first trailer for Disney+’s original docuseries The Beatles: Get Back, which will premiere on the streaming service this Thanksgiving weekend, has been released.

The docuseries, directed by Peter Jackson, features a never-before-seen reconstructed video. On November 25th, the three-part series will premiere, followed by November 26th and 27th.

The highly anticipated Get Back follows the band in the studio in January 1969 as they write and track 14 new tracks in preparation for their first live performance in over two years. The band is seen in the trailer tracking in the studio, and tensions are high, with a calendar marking the day George Harrison resigned mid-session and show cancellations. Regardless, it emphasizes their chemistry and togetherness.

Director Michael Lindsay-Hogg filmed previously unseen scenes and sounds over the course of 21 days for The Beatles: Get Back. It includes the entirety of the Beatles’ final live performance from a rooftop concert on London’s Savile Row, as well as songs from the band’s final two albums, Abbey Road and Let it Be.
