Summer Walker’s upcoming second album, Still Over It, has a full track list. SZA, Lil Durk, Pharrell Williams and the Neptunes, Omarion, Ari Lennox, and JT from City Girls, who appeared on the debut single, “Ex for a Reason,” are among the guests on the 20-track project. The album will also include a track titled “Bitter,” which features Cardi B’s narration, and a track called “Ciara’s Prayer,” which also features Ciara’s narration.
Summer Walker has announced the release of her sophomore album, “Still Over It,” on November 5th. The R&B artist recreates the cover of her “Over It” album in a trailer promoting the release.
Walker is seen on the phone with a then-incarcerated JT of City Girls from two years ago to the date in the flashback clip. Walker talks about her relationship problems, and they talk about how excited they are for JT to get out so they can hang out, implying the prospect of future cooperation.
Walker hinted at the release of her second album last week. Walker said she had scheduled to disclose details about her next album on the red carpet during the BET Hip-Hop Awards but was denied access due to “Covid restrictions” in a video she tweeted. Walker has shared multiple anti-vaxx messages in since-deleted social media posts, according to Hot New Hip Hop. As a result, she arrived in a parking lot and projected “summer walker album #2 coming november” on a building.
Still Over It is the follow-up to her debut album, Over It, which was released on this date in 2019 and placed 38th on Rolling Stone’s list of the 50 Best Albums of 2019.
