XL Recordings has revealed Arca’s next album, ‘Kick iii,’ which will be released on December 3rd.
The album is a follow-up to ‘Kick ii,’ which was revealed last month and will be released on the same day as its successor by the same label. ‘Prada’ and ‘Rakata,’ two tracks from the album, were released last week. Both of the next long-form releases are sequels to ‘KiCk I which was delivered in 2020.
The first track from the third edition of the series, ‘Electra Rex,’ has been released alongside a Carlota Guerrero-directed video, which features the artist, friends, and acquaintances outside Plaça dels Àngels, Barcelona.
Arca collaborated with Weirdcore, a visual artist, on a film project for the C2C Festival in September, with all earnings from the pay-what-you-can stream going to Casa Marcella, a trans and non-binary refuge.
