“The Girls Are Fighting,” the second song from Bloc Party’s forthcoming album Alpha Games, has been released. Cameron Ward directed and Luke Filz produced the video, which is set in London’s iconic Repton Boxing Club, where the Kray brothers famously trained.
The album’s first track, “Traps,” a hard-hitting alt-rock number, was released in November.
With vocalist Kele Okereke, “The Girls are Fighting” depicts a night out gone wrong.
Alpha Games will be released on April 29 via Infectious/BMG. Nick Launay and Adam Greenspan produced the album, which is Bloc Party’s first full-length since Hymns in 2016.
