Bambounou has a new album coming out in the shape of a wax candle sculpture of his body.
The five-track ‘La Sagrada’ EP, out now on French label Firecamp, was inspired “by the beauty of La Sagrada Familia’s unfinished architecture,” a reference to the Barcelona tourist site.
The EP takes a more experimental approach than the French producer’s normal club fare, with each track clocking in at roughly two minutes. Bambounou’s voice is included in the recordings, and he speaks in both Polish and French.
There will be no physical vinyl release; instead, the album will be packaged with a miniature bust of the producer by artist Jules Dumoulin and a tracklist patch. The albums’ songs are also available as a digital download.
