Mina has launched a new portal to assist artists with their funding proposals.
The South London-based producer and DJ launched Funding with Mina on Tuesday, February 15th, a new service that gives creatives assistance and support with funding applications, and also up-to-date information on funding opportunities.
It’s a practice Mina started throughout the pandemic. She disclosed towards the end of 2021 that she had assisted artists in writing successful grant proposals totaling more than £100,000 over the course of the year. In a recent interview with DJ Mag Recognise, Mina explained her work assisting creatives with grant applications.
The DJ and producer’s debut album, ‘Flight Paths,’ was released in 2019 and was named after an 18-month voyage around the world mixing the underground UK sounds with global club rhythms. Mina collaborated with 12 musicians on 12 tracks, including LYZZA, Amaarae, and Epic B, a New York FDM producer.
