MC Skibadee, a drum ‘n’ bass, has died, his family revealed on social media, however, no cause of death has been confirmed.
On Sunday afternoon, the statement was posted on Facebook: “Hello everyone, as Alphonsos first born i unfortunately come some with sad news to say that skibadee has passed away, as a family we ask for some privacy, but may he rest in peace”.
His career increased tremendously when he commenced on City Sound Radio in 1993, winning multiple accolades for Best Drum ‘n’ Bass MC along the way.
Skibadee was also a member of SASASAS, a drum ‘n’ bass group that dropped the album ‘Unite (DJ Mix)’ last year and the song ‘Finally’ more recently.
Since the news, social media has been flooded with accolades to the London-born MC’s achievements, with Skibadee being dubbed “favourite MC’s favourite MC’s favourite MC,” among other touching remarks.
