Lila Tirando a Violeta, an Uruguayan producer, is preparing to unleash the latest EP on NAAFI.
The experimental club producer’s 10-track LP, ‘Desire Path,’ will be out on April 8th via the Mexico City-based label and draws inspiration from her experience with neurological illness.
The album features contributions from Merca Bae and Nicola Cruz, and also prehispanic flutes and ocarinas.
‘Desire Path’ is Lila Tirando a Violeta’s second NAAFI release, following the folk-laden ‘Limerencia’ from her debut EP 2020.
The release of ‘Desire Path’ will be followed by the sale of a limited number of ocarinas created in partnership with Argentinian 3D artist Trinidad Metz. During her tour in Mexico, Lila Tirando a Violeta came up with the unique merchandise concept while researching homemade and ceramic ocarinas.
