FERRY CORSTEN TEASED “WHAT THE F” A TRANCE CLASSICS PROJECT

Ferry Corsten has confirmed a new trance classics project titled ‘What the F,’ which will kick off on May 6th with a live event at London’s Ministry of Sound.

The show will comprise music from throughout the artist’s career that has been “rehashed, remixed, and reinvented” in a futuristic manner. This won’t be a chronological retrospective, though; instead, fans should expect a thorough dive into Corsten’s near-infinite aliases.

Following the UK tour, Corsten will perform ‘What the F’ in the United States, with events at Stereo Live in Dallas and Houston (3 and 4 June), Denver Summit (17 September), Quantum in Brooklyn (18 June), San Francisco Midway (12 August), LA Exchange (13 August), Flash Washington DC (19 August), and Prysm in Chicago (20 August).

‘Hypnotised,’ a trance history encyclopedia launched last year, charted the sound from 1990 to 2005. With two parties planned for June and September, Ibiza institution Amnesia will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the film ‘Kevin & Perry Go Large,’ which was released during the height of trance’s popularity in Europe.
