The video for Nia Archives’ latest single “Part of Me” has been released.
The single is taken from the London-based, Northern England-raised jungle producer, DJ, and vocalist’s EP, ‘Forbidden Feelingz,’ and follows previous tracks like ‘Luv Like’ and ’18 & Over,’ which combine elements of soul, gospel, R&B, hardcore, and old school breaks.
‘Part of Me’ demonstrates the artist’s songwriting prowess once more. Regularly fusing uptempo, rave-friendly sounds with passionate, sincere lyrics and serious issues, the focus point in this case is the fear of losing oneself after a relationship ends. Brighton, East Sussex, was the location for the accompanying video.
Nia’s first single to be released in physical form, with only a few vinyl pressings and cassette copies available. The EP’s debut party will be held at Space 289 in London on Thursday, March 17th.
Nia contributed the newest version of DJ Mag’s Fresh Kicks mix series last month.
