Local Suicide, a Berlin-based duo, has unveiled their debut EP, ‘Eros Anikate,’ which will be delivered on May 13 via their own imprint Iptamenos Discos.
They’ve recently released their latest track, ‘Jam Bounce Release,’ ahead of the album’s release. The track is a tongue-in-cheek duet with Theus Mago that aims at how ‘easy’ it is to create a dance track nowadays.
‘Jam Bounce Release’ uses panning synths and vocals to create a dance-floor ready cut that embraces “what a dance track is through and through.”
‘Eros Anikate,’ the pair’s forthcoming album, is labeled to showcase their ‘technodisco’ sound, which combines retro with modern musical aspects, baselines, and cryptic vocals. To put the finishing touches on it, a number of collaborators and friends will be involved.
