Emeli Sandé Reveals about Her Love Interest

Emeli Sandé, a British pop singer/songwriter, has disclosed that she is in love with a lady who could be “the one.” Sandé revealed in an interview with Metro that she’s in love with a classical pianist she met while studying classical music and that her nameless love feels like “the one for life.”

On May 6, the singer will release her latest album, Let’s Say for Instance, which features the hit “There Isn’t Much.”

The video for the song features a slew of female dancers who director Mareike Macklon described as “queer community” members, according to Metro.

When asked if she now identifies as bisexual, Sandé, who was married to long-term lover marine biologist Adam Gouraguine for two years (2012-2014), replied she wasn’t sure.

Sandé told Metro that she has already disclosed her new love to her parents whom she met after the COVID-19 lockdown ended indicating how serious the new relationship seems. “All good,” she stated of her return trip to Aberdeenshire, England.

Sandé delivered the garage-inspired “Look What You’ve Done” in October, her first self-produced single and the second in what she described as a “rebirth” period in her career that was releasing her from external expectations.
