Carl Cox and Fatboy Slim have collaborated on the latest single, ‘Speed Trials On Acid,’ which will be released on Friday, April 8th.
‘Speed Trials On Acid,’ which features spoken word performer Dan Diamond, is a “reworking from [his] upcoming live electronic project,” according to Cox.
Diamond released a video of Cox performing the song at the Ultra Music Festival on Instagram. With his lyrics and a personal remark, he captions the video: “This is so special to me. I’ve been waiting for this for 25 years.”
Diamond also hinted that he’ll be collaborating with Cox on his next album for BMG, which may be that “upcoming live electronic project” that Cox announced on his own Instagram.
Fatboy Slim is throwing a party in Brighton this summer to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his project.
