Cardi B has collaborated on a new single titled “Shake It” with fellow Bronx rappers Kay Flock and Dougie B. Bory300’s “Bananza (Belly Dancer)” is heavily sampled in the track, which was produced by Elias Beats and features Bory300.
Kay Flock’s first new song since his debut album, The D.O.A. Tape, was released in November is “Shake It.” It’s also his first song since being charged with first-degree murder in December. On December 16, the rapper was accused of shooting and killing a 24-year-old guy in Manhattan. Kay Flock has pleaded not guilty, and his next court date, according to online records accessed by Pitchfork, is set for Tuesday, May 12.
Last year, Kay Flock made a splash with the tune “Being Honest.” G Herbo joined him for a remix of the hit a few months later. The D.O.A. tape includes both versions of “Being Honest.” The Dougie B contributions “Brotherly Love” and “TCardi” are also included on the album.
