In the music video for “We Go Up” featuring Fivio Foreign, Nicki Minaj comes to New York City in a pink Lamborghini, demonstrating her rap versatility and drill talents with the Brooklyn rapper.
The video, directed by Drevinci, splices snippets of Minaj driving several luxury cars around the city, whereas other shots follow the queen of rap — dressed in a pink monochromatic outfit and matching jacket — as she spits the lyrics to the song near the South Jamaica projects in Queens, which she mentions in the song’s lyrics.
Foreign, with Minaj, declares himself the ruler of New York in his verse.
Following the release of the video, Minaj threatened Barbz with deferring the release of her album if the video didn’t do as well as she hoped.
