Much awaited, the debut album of Batu named ‘Opal’ has been released on his Timedance label.
The Bristol musician takes the experimental theme from his past EPs and 12-inches to deeper heights, not necessarily firmly on the dance floor, on the 11-track LP.
Recently, Batu has been a newly stated cover star of DJ Mag UK’s May issue, which is also out. Inside, he discusses his record with Chal Ravens, as well as how the pandemic has influenced his ideas, the Bristol culture, and more.
