Kendrick Lamar is only days away from releasing his long-expected album Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers — and the rap magnate is announcing the launch with a new picture that implies fans may be receiving more than just an album on May 13.
On Tuesday, the rapper shared an image of himself crossing his legs on a Persian rug while carrying a set of CDs and a book in one hand. The title of the project is inscribed on the burgundy book, as well as Lamar’s entire name. Regarding the two CDs, one was labelled “Steppers” (a reference to the Big Steppers) and “master copy,” while the other was labelled “Morale” (a reference to Mr. Morale), both of which were handwritten.
Lamar announced the album’s launch with a press release signed under his Oklama alias and printed on the letterhead of his firm pgLang.
