The band Parquet Courts performed “Walking at a Downtown Pace” from their new album Sympathy for Life on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. After catching COVID-19, Jimmy Kimmel was on medical leave, so comedian Mike Birbiglia stepped in as the show’s guest host.
In January, the band premiered its song “Watching Strangers Smile” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Parquet Courts released visuals for Sympathy for Life songs “Walking at a Downtown Pace,” “Homo Sapiens,” and “Black Widow Spider” last fall.
