Danielle Haim has been enlisted by Bruce Hornsby on a new tune “Days Ahead.” The song is accompanied by a video clip that Hornsby produced and shot during the pandemic. In the video, 3D-printed figures can be seen moving dollhouse furniture, striving to learn German, and contemplating their future steps in life.
May 27 marks the release of Hornsby’s new album ‘Flicted, on which “Days Ahead” appears. “Sidelines” starring Ezra Koenig (of Vampire Weekend) and Blake Mills led the album. This song was co-written and co-produced by Mills and Ariel Rechtshaid.
Following 2019’s Absolute Zero and 2020’s Non-Secure Connection the ’Flicted concludes Hornsby’s trilogy of albums based on cinematic scores he composed for Spike Lee.
