Purple Disco Machine has shared his new track, ‘Wake Up!’, collaborating with multi-instrumentalist Bosq and featuring vocalist and guitarist Kaleta.
The song features smooth basslines, a variety of Afro-Latin percussion parts, trumpets, and gliding vocals to produce an evocative, soulful disco house sound.
‘Wake Up!’ is a reprise of Bosq’s original piece from 2020, with Purple Disco Machine’s rendition having its Coachella Festival launch in April.
The producer’s music is often influenced by his hometown of Dresden, East Germany, and is infused with an energizing grit.
In addition, the current track employs funky rhythms, electro beats, and a sprinkling of vocals to expand upon the producer’s present style while also delivering a preview of future updates.
Given the popularity and success of Purple Disco Machine’s past compositions, it is not challenging to uncover joint efforts featuring the artist. He has developed remixes for many artists, from Dua Lipa to Lady Gaga to Fatboy Slim, each including a disco-inspired variant of the original hit.
The producer and DJ is scheduled to perform at events such as Tomorrowland, Parklife, Lollapalooza, and Coachella, where ‘Wake Up!’ debuted earlier this year.
