Coachella has confirmed that it will return for another year, occupying the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, for two weekends in April, as per tradition. The dates are April 15-17 and April 21-23, 2023.
After two years of cancellations due to pandemics, the 2022 edition of the festival featured performances by Harry Styles, Swedish House Mafia x The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, and others. Frank Ocean is scheduled to headline Coachella in 2023, a leftover from the festival’s canceled 2020 lineup. Travis Scott, one of the rescheduled headliners for 2020, canceled his 2022 performance following the horrific crowd crush at Astroworld. In the end, he played at an afterparty. Kanye West also stepped out after being confirmed as a headliner for 2022 in January because of his erratic public conduct and demand that Billie Eilish apologizes to Travis Scott for what West regarded as offensive comments.
