Mariah Carey gave a surprise performance at the BET Awards on Sunday, June 26. She joined Latto on his song “Big Energy” and performed alongside him. The original release of “Big energy” was announced in September 2021. Carey remixed the track in March this year.
Before this, Lizzo opened the BET Awards with a live performance of “About Damn Time” from her upcoming album Special.
Latto released her second album ‘777’ earlier this year. This album includes 4-tracks Wheelie, Soufside, Sunshine, and Big Energy featuring Lil Wayne and Childish Gambino. She collaborated with Lakeyah on the single “Mind Yo Business.”
