Yeah Yeah Yeahs have announced the cancellation of their three upcoming Australian tours due to health issues. The band made the announcement through their social media account on July 14 writing “their Melbourne, Sydney, and Splendour in the Grass shows are not taking place now.”
The band returned in March and announced their first live show since their last appearance in 2019. On June 5, the first leg of the show kicked off at the O2 Apollo in Manchester, England followed by their performance at the O2 Apollo in London on June 7 and June 8.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs also disclosed that they had signed with Secretly Canadian to release a new album this fall. Along with this, they also announced dates for live shows in Los Angeles and New York.
