Beyoncé has come up with a new instrumental and a capella version of her latest track “Break My Soul.” It is featured on the album Renaissance which arrives on July 29.
Renaissance is a follow-up to her previous release Lemonade and includes the likes of notable composers such as Jay-Z, Drake, The-Dream, Lucky Daye, Tems, Raphael Saadiq, Skrillex, Honey Dijon, 070 Shake, Leven Kali, No I.D., and Dixson. Along with this, the album also features some music from Giorgio Moroder, Donna Summer, and James Brown among others.
Renaissance was announced in mid-June followed by the single “Break My Soul”, which arrived a few days after the announcement. On June 30, Beyonce shared the cover artwork for the record marking a call back to John Collier’s Lady Godiva painting and a picture of Bianca Jagger entering Studio 54 on a white horse for her 30th birthday.
