Neil Young has confirmed that he will not be at Farm Aid 2022. He cited the COVID-19 concerns for the cancellation of the festival.
Young co-founded the annual benefit concert to help American farmers. He had also canceled the festival last year due to the COVID pandemic concerns. This year’s festival will take place on September 24 in Raleigh, North Carolina, featuring performances from Dave Matthews, John Mellencamp, Willie Nelson, Margo Price, Sheryl Crow, Tim Reynolds, and others.
Earlier this year, his music got removed from Spotify due to his intervention in COVID-19 misinformation on Joe Rogan’s podcast. He encouraged the Spotify workers to quit their jobs.
