On Wednesday, Michelle Branch and Patrick Carney of The Black Keys welcomed a baby daughter. E! News broke the news first, and Branch confirmed it on Twitter.
According to E! News, the baby, named Willie Jacquet Carney weighs 7 pounds and 5 ounces. Baby Willie joins the growing family which also consists of Owen Isabelle Landau aged 16 and from Branch’s previous marriage, Rhys James Carney who is also 3 years old.
The happy parents informed E! News that Baby Willie is named after the grandmother of Patrick Carney called Willie Madge Slate while her middle name is Branch’s mother’s maiden name – Jacquet.
“In late 2020, Branch revealed that she had had a miscarriage before confirming that she was pregnant again in August 2021.”
Branch and Carney met in 2015 and worked together on her 2017 album, Hopeless Romantic, which he produced. In 2019, the pair married in New Orleans.
