DJ EZ and Pioneer DJ have partnered on a new video that highlights some of the new features of the new flagship CDJ-3000s. EZ demonstrates some of his signature mixing and performance skills in the four-minute video, including rapid cueing, triggering samples on the new horizontal hot cue buttons to generate new rhythms, using the white noise generator on the DJM-900 mixer to imitate scratching, and pitching sounds up and down to make a new melody by using pitch fader.
It’s all classic EZ stuff, who recently displayed his abilities during a 24-hour charity stream that raised £88,000 for the UK mental health charity Mind.
