DIY Handbook, a new podcast from Jamz Supernova, will premiere on May 24th.
Producer Toddla T, entrepreneur Ciara Madden, broadcaster June Sarpong, and Zubin Irani, manager of famed singer-songwriter Jorja Smith, are among the confirmed guests, which is a first for the BBC 6 Music and 1Xtra regular and former BBC Radio 1 host.
In eight weekly episodes, a variety of subjects will be discussed, ranging from diversity and trauma to successful team partnerships. The first instalment features British Olympic gold medalist Katarina Johnson-Thompson on ‘The Art of Persistence.’
2021 celebrates Jamz Supernova’s tenth year on UK radio, as well as the first vinyl release on her Future Bounce imprint – ‘Future Bounce Club Series Vol 1’ is presently on preorder and will be available for purchase on May 31st. Bamz, KG & Uniqu3, and Rose Bonica all contribute tracks, as does Sam Interface, who released his ‘Going In/Shadows’ two-tracker for the label last month. On the 17th of July, a day and night celebration is planned at Night Tales in Hackney, London, to commemorate all of this.
