Swae Lee and Alicia Keys have collaborated on the seductive new track “Lala.”On Sunday, the two will perform the track live for the first time at the MTV Video Music Awards 2021.
The couple trade seductive phrases on the track.
Keys’ appearance on Sunday will be her first in nine years on the VMA stage. She last sang “Girl on Fire” with Nicki Minaj and Gabby Douglas at the 2012 Awards. The singer has four VMAs to her credit, including Best New Artist in a Video in 2001 for her breakthrough single “Fallin’.”
In June, she released a deluxe special edition of Songs in “A Minor” to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut album. For Deezer Sessions, Keys recently contributed an ASMR remix of “Fallin.”
Swae Lee and Jhené Aiko collaborated on the song “In the Dark” last month for the new Marvel Studios film Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings.
