ANNA, a Brazilian DJ and producer, has released fresh techno and ambient remixes of Orbital’s seminal track “Belfast” via London Records.
The new interpretations were created to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the original. The song first appeared on Orbital’s third recorded release, the EP ‘III,’ which consisted of three tracks, after a demo tape was left behind after a show at Belfast Art College in 1990, which was discovered by Northern Irish electronic music luminaries David Holmes and Alan Simms.
ANNA, who came in 20th place in DJ Mag’s Alternative Top 100 DJs poll powered by Beatport in 2021, has now released two new remixes of the source material, which are now accessible in digital formats.
