A new film will be directed and scored by Flying Lotus.
Following the release of LeSean Thomas and Takeshi Satou’s Yasuke, a six-part anime series on Netflix last year, the Grammy Award-winning artist has announced intentions to score and direct “Ash,” a new sci-fi horror movie.
The film, which will be produced in collaboration with XYZ Films and GFC Films, is the follow-up to Flying Lotus’ 2017 film debut Kuso.
According to Deadline, the plot of Ash, which is based on a play, revolves around a woman working on a space station who wakes up alone to find her team murdered.
