Dave, a Brixton rapper, attempted to recreate his viral “Alex From Glasto” moment from 2019 at the Coachella festival in California this past weekend.
Dave chose a fan from the audience to join him on stage to rap a verse from his 2016 song with AJ Tracey, “Thiago Silva.” “Oh my god, speak to the people, brother,” Dave said in response to “Spike From London’s” effort. The moment, as expected, went viral on social media.
Scarlett, daughter of Love Actually director Richard Curtis, later confirmed on Twitter that Spike From London is really her brother Spike Curtis.
The fact that Spike had unveiled a rap album under the nickname Petit Savage on SoundCloud when he was 12 years old was quickly picked up by the tabloids, a fact that Scarlett said she “completely forgot.”
