The Dee Gees, a Bee Gees tribute band formed by the Foo Fighters, have revealed Hail Satin, a Record Store Day exclusive record due out on July 17th.
Five Brothers Gibb classics — Bee Gees’ “You Should Be Dancing,” Night Fever,” “Tragedy,” and “More Than a Woman,” plus Andy Gibb’s “Shadow Dancing” — are covered by the band, as well as five Medicine at Midnight tracks recorded live in their 606 studio.
The Foo Fighters covered both “You Should Be Dancing” and “Shadow Dancing” for Jo Whiley’s BBC show and the Rock n’ Relief livestream earlier this year. After watching the HBO documentary on the Bee Gees, Grohl got obsessed with them, as he previously stated.
