Billie Eilish is seen going through the motions by herself in the new music video for “Male Fantasy.” In a somber manner, she wanders from room to room, in and out of the refrigerator, and back and forth from different sides of the bed. Her roaming follows the musical flow of the song, filling an entire day inside with nothingness and melancholy lingering.
For the folky Happier Than Ever cut, Eilish directed and edited the video.
“Male Fantasy” is based on the notion of pornography’s unattainable standards and the lingering unease that surrounds the topic despite its prominence.
