Blackpink have released a new trailer for their forthcoming documentary, Blackpink the Movie, which will be released in theatres on August 4th and 8th around the world.
The release of the film falls on the fifth anniversary of Blackpink’s debut as a group, which took place in August of 2016. The Movie will include all four members — Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé — discussing life as members of one of the world’s top pop groups and sharing recollections from their time together, as shown in the trailer.
Much of the live video in the clip was re-edited from prior performances, including 2021’s The Show and 2018’s In Your Area.
