Bon Iver has confirmed that they would conduct two live shows at Los Angeles’ newly opened YouTube Theater to commemorate the tenth anniversary of their 2011 album Bon Iver.
Friday, October 22nd, and Saturday, October 23rd are the dates for the shows at the Inglewood venue. Tickets go on sale at boniver.org/tour on Friday, August 20th at 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET.
The shows, which will be Bon Iver’s first live performances because the Covid-19 pandemic shut down live music, will feature the same stage production design as the band’s 2012 tour in support of the album, as well as L-Acoustics’ state-of-the-art L-ISA Hyperreal Sound technology, which the band first started using in 2018.
In addition, a 10th-anniversary version of Bon Iver, Bon Iver will be launched on CD and LP on January 14th, 2022. Five songs from Bon Iver’s AIR Studios session, where Justin Vernon and Sean Carey played as a pair with vocals and piano, are included in the limited edition. Those who preorder the album will get the AIR Studios version of “Babys” right away. “Hinnom, TX,” “Wash.,” “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” and “Beth/Rest” are among the other songs recorded at the session.
